Award from Airbus Operations for efficiency
The award recognizes the improvement in Aciturri’s level of efficiency from among the principal aerostructure subcontractors of the aircraft manufacturer. This is the second time that Airbus has given the award to Aciturri as a supplier in its SQIP Program.
Airbus Operations Awards Aciturri the Best Performance Award as part of the SQIP Awards 2016.
SQIP (Supply Chain Quality & Improvement Program) is the program designed by Airbus to promote improvement in the quality and performance of the companies that form part of its supply chain.
Since 2011, the European aircraft manufacturer has been using a series of objective indicators of results to give awards to its best subcontractors in different categories. This year, Aciturri received the Best Performance Award in recognition of the improvement in its level of efficiency as a top-level supplier in the last 12 months.
This is the second time that Aciturri has received an award as a supplier in the SQIP Program. In 2014, Airbus Operations recognized the company’s work in the Best Improver category.
Aciturri participates in the development and construction of different Airbus models, such as the A350 XWB, A400M, A380, the A320 family, and the Beluga XL. María Eugenia Clemente (Director of Sales), Francisco Martín (General Manager for Operations), Javier Pezzi (Director of Programs) and Sergio Camps (Director of Subcontracting) accepted the award from Airbus executives at the ceremony held at the Airbus facility.
