IN(3D)USTRY 2018

Aciturri takes part in the third edition of IN(3D)USTRY, From Needs to Solutions, which takes place from October 16 to 18 at Fira Barcelona.

Our colleague Jesús Sesé, manager of Aciturri Additive Manufacturing area, will give the talk "Additive manufacturing: walking towards the aeronautical industry" on Tuesday, 16^th, at 10:35 am, as part of the round tables panel dedicated to the aeronautical sector.

During his presentation, Jesus will summarize the capabilities of Aciturri in additive manufacturing, in addition to reviewing our vision on the challenges that the additive technology must face to be industrially viable for the aerospace sector.

In this way, he will talk about aspects such as the new design mentality; the evolution of requirements and specifications; the qualification of materials, machines and processes; inspection and quality controls; traceability; training or supply chain.

The meeting is part of the Barcelona Industry Week, which analyses the transformation of the industry on a global level, with the joint celebration of three major events: HEALTHIO, focused on the health sector; IN(3D)USTRY, about additive and advanced manufacturing; and IOT Solutions World Congress, focused on knowledge about the development and application of the "internet of things".
