Aciturri participates in the Rolls Royce Zero Defects Conference
Out teams of Engineering and Quality from Aciturri Aeroengines have participated for the first time in the annual meeting "Zero Defects supplier conference" of Rolls Royce, which took place in Derby (England).
In its 2019 edition, our company has been invited to join the “Zero Defects” movement that Rolls Royce has been developed with its suppliers for years, focused on searching for quality of its products and processes.
The British engines manufacturer promotes a culture of defect prevention throughout the entire product cycle, for which it organizes this kind of meetings. Into a two-day program, its suppliers receive training in tools for defects prevention, review real cases of example and elaborate action plans.
After participating in this conference, we have made a diagnosis of the position of Aciturri Aeroengines within these “Zero Defects” requirements. With it, and despite having obtained a good assessment, we have become aware of the need to establish a concrete plan for compliance, whose implementation we are already working on.
