Aciturri collaborates with the research in Multiple Sclerosis

Aciturri has signed the renewal of the collaboration agreement with Dr. Diego Clemente, a biologist specialized in Neuroscience research, specifically in the field of neural plasticity of the brain and the neuro-immunological bases of multiple sclerosis.

Dr. Clemente is a principal investigator of the Group called Neuroinmuno-Reparación (GNIR) of the National Hospital of Paraplegics in Toledo, which studies the relationship between the nervous and the immune systems in demyelinating pathologies (those which cause loss of myelin in neurons).

The group focuses on the study of suppressive myeloid cells (MDSCs) and their possible use as biomarkers of the aggressiveness of multiple sclerosis or as neurodegenerative agents.

Our company collaborates with the important work of Dr. Clemente and his team since December 2016, through financial contributions that help to develop scientific research in Multiple Sclerosis and accompanying them as much as possible in their work of scientific dissemination .

From Aciturri, we urge you to learn about the important work they are doing.
