Sergio Camps, Jon Fdz. de Lopidana, Marina Paunet, Beatriz Fernández and Teresa Escolano at Aerospace Meetings Casablanca 2022.
The trip has allowed us to verify a remarkable growth of the industrial ecosystem and to know firsthand the high degree of maturity of the aerospace supply chain. Facilities, capabilities and investments have facilitated Aciturri's close contact with potential suppliers such as SAM-Grupo Aviagroup, SIMRA-Grupo Segula, Figeac Aero, AD Industries, Latecoere, EFOA o WE ARE.

The team completed its trip with a visit to HEXCEL, the main supplier of composite material for Aciturri, which is already working on the manufacture of cores from this facility for us. The visit was attended by the Minister of Industry, Trade and Green Economy of the Government of Morocco, Mr. Ryad Mezzour and the President of Hexcel Thierry MERLOT.
In recent years Morocco has intensified policies for the development of the aerospace industry and is actively working to attract investments related to the sector. This activity has led Airbus and Boeing to identify Morocco as a strategic country with great opportunities for the development of the metal fabrication and composites supply chain.
