Although it is true that the current difficult situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic has also put a strain on the industry's supply chain, Aciturri continues to promote its development and maintains a proactive attitude for new improvement opportunities.
Both as associates and collaborators of SPACE (Supply Chain Towards Aeronautical Community Excellence), as well as through the actions we implement on our own initiative, we work to promote the competitiveness of the aerospace industry's supply chain.

From Aciturri, we promote training courses, projects for the standardization of management tools, advice on development projects and implementation of "assesments" on the supply chain. The latter is useful for evaluating and auditing processes and industrial capacity, as well as identifying improvement opportunities. An assessment focused on four key aspects: processes, organization, tools and KPIs.

At SPACE, we are particularly committed to collaborating in improvement projects for suppliers seeking to make progress in terms of industrial performance. A recent case of success has been Utingal, where we provided advice to develop the planning and definition of the scorecard performance for the Galician engineering and metal manufacturing company. Their work has been awarded this year, together with that of the Emergy group, with the Best Project Award in the annual SPACE awards.

Our supply chain is strategic, and despite the current difficulties, it is essential for us to have a global network of expert and reliable partners who are committed to continuous improvement and offer innovative solutions based on excellence and competitiveness.
