Aeroengines Ircio achieves the certification for the manufacturing of Rolls Royce detail parts
Our Aeroengines Ircio plant has successfully passed the "SCA SABRe Compliance Assessment" that Rolls Royce uses to certify its supply chain members.
This assessment, needed for the manufacturing of detail parts for Rolls Royce, audits all the requirements of its SABRe regulations against Aciturri's Quality Management system, from the management of human resources to the implementation of Lean methodology, through the areas of process engineering, tooling engineering, product and system quality, as well as maintenance and program management plans. In addition, the implementation of the Business Continuity Plan is also audited.
To achieve this certification, which we also obtained for the facilities in Berantevilla last February, Aciturri has adapted its purchasing and reception requirements for cast components -including new clauses and additional information- and has updated the instruction for its verification.
Also, we have made an important effort in the qualification and training of our quality inspectors, so that they can carry out, with guarantees and the maximum possible precision, the visual inspection processes according to the RRP58007 regulation.
Since the start-up of the Ircio facilities, our team has been working hard in technology development, processes improvement and in the training of the human team that is part of it.
This certification is undoubtedly a key event that we have to thank all of them, and which will contribute to the positioning of Aciturri Aeroengines as well as to the development of our industrial plan.
