Expansion project for final processes in Aerostructures Boecillo
Aciturri Aerostructures Boecillo will increase in the coming months its manufacturing capabilities, with the expansion of its final processes areas, meant for mechanized, inspections, painting and final product shipment activities.
Last July, our company launched the first phase of civil works, as part of which, during the summer months, various movements of machinery have been made in order to complete, throughout the last quarter of the year, the construction of the new areas.
During September, it is planned to complete the conditioning works for the painting hall, after which, at the end of October, the new shipping area will be completed. The commissioning of these areas, whose completion is planned before closing 2019, will be accompanied by the installation of a new milling machine, in March 2020.
After that, the new layout of the plant will collect a total of 1,800 sqm for milling activities, 1,200 sqm for product inspections, 1,600 sqm for painting and 1,250 sqm for shipments.
With this new expansion, we hope to continue increasing both the scope and the quality of our offer to the most competitive clients of the international aeronautical industry, strengthening our position as Tier 1 of aerostructures.
