The second edition of the IMPULSA training program comes to a close

Aciturri has completed the second edition of IMPULSA, an internal training program aimed at company professionals with the potential to take on area or plant management functions. The objective is to help these people develop the key skills and knowledge necessary to successfully perform their current role and those that may be assigned to them in the future.

The initiative, led and managed by People, Safety and Environment area, has once again relied on Deusto Bussiness School as a strategic partner for the Program's design and implementation. Among the main objectives of Impulsa are the development of knowledge and key competencies for participants to evolve towards management functions and the promotion of innovation as a tool for continuous improvement.

During the last day, the participants defended their end-of-program projects before a jury made up of the DBS team, the Executive President of Aciturri, Ginés Clemente, and the General Managers, María Eugenia Clemente and Álvaro Fernández.

This second edition of the program was attended by 20 company professionals from the Engineering, Operations, Programs and Corporate Services areas of both firms, and was developed over 12 months, in person, on Fridays and Saturdays at the DBS headquarters in Madrid. The different modules taught integrate content from different disciplines such as Operational Finance, Strategic Management, Digital Transformation and Growth Models, Project Management, Negotiation and Decision Making. All of them have been coordinated by the Academic Director of Impulsa, Mr. Juan Miguel Poyatos, and taught by professionals in each of the subjects such as María Iturriaga, Marisa Gutiérrez, Álex Rayón or Jon Segovia, among others.

The academic sessions were also attended by executives and managers of the company, who shared with the students the main challenges facing Aciturri in the future and discussed the issues addressed in each of the modules.
