2017 Sustainability Report

We´ve published  our 2017 Sustainability Report, the first one developed following the GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) standards guidelines, with the purpose of sharing with our stakeholders information about the social, economic and environmental impact of our activity.

Thus, and coinciding with the renewal as a signatory partner of the United Nations Global Compact, Aciturri reaffirms its commitment to transparency with its employees, partners, suppliers and society in general.

Sustained growth

In a year that we´ve launched a new brand and started the formal division of our two business areas, we´ve achieved a turnover of 303 million euros, broke delivery records and significantly increased our team.

Aciturri Aerostructures, as Tier 1 supplier, has adapted both its internal industrial capacity and its supply chain to absorb the increase in demand of growing programs, mainly the A320 and the A350XWB.

In the engine business, Aciturri Aeroengines- has succeeded to incorporate to its portfolio, after just one year of activity, leading clients such as Safran, Rolls Royce or General Electric (the first one in North America). Also, it has completed the start-up of its first production plant exclusively for the manufacture of high value added engine components (8,500 m2 of facilities in Miranda de Ebro).

Commitment to our employees

During 2017 our company has redefined its Recruitment Model and launched the Aciturri Careers Site, both with the aim of guarantee an equal access to work opportunities and professional promotion -guided by the Aciturri Performance Evaluation System (SEDA) -.

In addition, we have updated our Code of Conduct to protect our team´s collective rights, and we have our own protocols for Prevention and Action against Harassment and Discrimination & for Occupational Health and Safety.

In this sense, we´ve deepened our Corporate Compliance Policy to combat any form of corruption, and we´re implementing a specific Complaints Channel to be used to report any social, environmental or other kind of irregularity.


At Aciturri we´re aware of both the impact of its activity and the limitation of natural resources, so we carry out an environmental impact and risk assessment, and designs and applies our own mitigation plans. Thanks to this, we´ve managed to reduce the consumption of water, energy and other materials with high environmental impact, such as paints or solvents.

Also, as part of our Corporate Responsibility, our company is involved in the development of the communities in which it operates, so we collaborate in various incentives with business organizations, knowledge centres, government and social entities.
